Terms of Contract

I acknowledge the following in accordance with the eligibility requirements of Rate Rider PEV:

- I or a member of my household currently owns or leases a battery electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that maintains at least four wheels in contact with the ground when operating and is suitable for operation on all public streets, roads and highway systems (“Qualifying PEV”).

- The Qualifying PEV regularly is parked or garaged at the service address associated with my electric service account during the discount hours specified in Rate Rider PEV.

- I have provided Alabama Power with current approved documentation verifying the possession of a Qualifying PEV at the service address associated with my electric service account.

- If during the annual service period the Qualifying PEV should no longer be associated with my electric service account, I will promptly notify Alabama Power of the change.

- Alabama Power reserves the right to collect for under-billings in accordance with Rule 3.4 of the Special Rules in the event I fail to notify the company of a change in my account’s eligibility for service under Rate Rider PEV.
